We're glad to announce the official release of HTML Executable 2025.0!
This is a major update packed with new features, performance boosts, and important fixes, many of which are based on your valuable feedback. Thank you for your continued support!
Key Highlights in Version 2025.0
Major New Features:
Integrated DOCX Viewer: This is the big one! You can now embed and display Microsoft Word .docx files natively in your applications without requiring MS Word.
Zstandard Compression: We've replaced the Brotli algorithm with Zstd. This means you'll get faster compilation and decompression speeds, with comparable file sizes.
Expanded Code Signing Support: You can now sign your compiled executables using modern cheap cloud-based certificates like Azure Trusted Signing. We also added support for Microsoft SignTool for specific certificates.
HTML Help TOC Import: You can now import existing .HHC (Table of Contents) files to quickly create a TOC for your publications, which is very helpful when converting from CHM or other help authoring tools.
Notable Improvements & Fixes:
If your maintenance plan is active, this update is free for you. You can download the latest version directly from our website:
