Selected save file is not compatible

Is there some sort of list why a save file would not be compatible with the application? I have a demo .xlsm that's pre-filled with names another that is blank. They have the same application key and are substantially identical. This comes from an underlying problem that you can't copy/delete rows in a protected workspace if there are protected cells. I'm not going to imbed any passwords. therefore, I will need exe files with 200, 500, 1000, and 2000 blank cells. Need to make sure either program will open up something saved from the other.

Application Secret Key must match, otherwise you'll get the specified error.

It appears I can have versions with a different number of rows and open up the spreadsheet easily as long as I'm strict on making sure the secret key is the same. I also copied the GUID. Is that needed as well?

No, the GUID is used if you want to store settings on the end user computer. It is not directly used for saves.
