Secondary activation for expired certificates

I've just discovered that if I try to activate a publication using a key that should have expired a year ago, but still has some activation attempts available, I have the publication activated! As I understand, the first activation attempt should be counted as a baseline for keys for certificates that have expiration days set.

Solution
Activation keys themselves have no expiration date. Registration keys do have.
So if someone uses their activation key and you haven't blocked their account, it's possible to activate again.

Good morning. Please, what is the activation key? What is the one the user sends for registration, or the one you send them to open the executable? What is the registration key? Could you please share the script with me? Thank you.
