Parallels Desktop

Hello
I currently use XLSPadlock and Paquet Builder via Bootcamp on a MacBook Pro. However if I upgrade the new Mac’s they don’t use Intel and therefore Bootcamp not available. The option is to use Parallels Desktop. Has anyone experience is using either products in that environment and able to say how well it performs?
