Hi team.
From the user's point of view,
I want my Excel workbook saving options to do 3 things in full save Excel workbook mode.
1. Automatically save as and when updated and closed.
2. Ability to save a copy on their laptop only when needed. (Btw, what is the difference between hardware-locked save files and normal files, because we still need the main application to run them anyway?)
3. Keep saved data even after web updates.
To summarise, my biggest concern is that I don't want user to lose all their data after a web update.
At the same time, I don't want the workbook to show the save dialogue box every time.
Please let me know the best and safest situation in this case and the detailed configuration for this. Thank you very much.
