2024.2 Cannot load existing project Win 11

Updated to Windows 11.

Version 24H2
Installed on ‎3/‎29/‎2025

Just tried to load existing project after starting up ExeOut 2024.2. This project was listed in recent area.

Cannot dismiss the popup shown in screenshot. Cannot cancel. Cannot use at all:

Only way to exit is use task manager to end.

I also tried opening from the project folder, same issue.
 
UPDATE: It crossed my old mind to try running as administrator. That works and the popup never appeared or if it did, it was too fast for me to see.

Just used properties and checked run as administrator:

Strange that administrator is required. It may be a file access problem because this dialog box is displayed when ExeOutput scans for files in your project. If the dialog is stuck (even if multithreading is used), then this means something blocked access to the scanned files. Any antivirus or security software?

Happens with any existing project, no matter if opened from within the software or if opened by clicking on the project file in foler.

Long as run in admin mode, I have no issues with any project.
 
Very strange indeed. I have no other software acting up after upgrade to Win 11 and trust me, I run lots of software daily.

When I get time, will try to look deeper into issue by turning off run as admin. There has too (or one would think so) be a log somewhere since something is blocking.
