I conducted further research. It turns out that the unwanted change has been present since version 2022.0. Below are screenshots to illustrate the issue.

Have the same problem on Win 11 PRO 24H2. Before I had “Error while starting application runtime 2021.1”. Did the upgrade as suggested to 2024.2. Now after upgrade I’m getting: “Add-in 2 system error. Code 33.”

I have workbook in trial state with nag screen on. It shows 7 days left. When I try to check it with ReadTrialState it shows 0 instead of 7 days. ReadTrialState works only with first activation key. After reentering new key with “MYAPP -enterkey” counter is reset to 0. Why? What is wrong ?
